Summer Institute Follow-Up Days Information

 

As part of your commitment to the 2010 Florida PROMiSE Summer Institutes,
there are 4 follow-up days that must be completed during the 2010-2011 school year.

All workshops will be held at:
Heartland Educational Consortium 1096 US Hwy 27 North, Lake Placid, Florida 33852.

Participant Expectations:

  • Respect the facilitator and your colleagues' time by arriving early, staying for the entire day of training, and not leaving early

  • Respect your colleagues and facilitator by being an engaged and involved training participant and following all group norms.

  • Honor times that are set aside for breaks and lunch.

  • Participate in follow-up meetings and submit activities/projects within the designated timeframes.

Stipend Information:

  • Participants will be paid $125 per non-contractual day.  The total amount of payment will be determined by HEC and the instructor and it will be based on the number of full hours involved in active participation.

  • All travel and meal expenses are the responsibility of the participant and will not be reimbursed.
