Crosswalks

These were adapted from documents graciously provided by Pasco and Okaloosa Counties. The crosswalks are an attempt to reconcile our new NGSSS with the imminent change to CCSS (Common Core State Standards). For the 2011-2012 school year, the state's recommendation is that Kindergarten should be implementing the CCSS, with 1st grade following in the 2012-2013 school year, and 2nd grade the year after. For other grades, the state is working on a blended implementation to accommodate both NGSSS and CCSS together (planned for school year 2013-2014). Please speak with your district on plans for implementation, whether a full implementation or a blended one (incorporating the CCSS standards that are not matched to NGSSS standards into the current curriculum).
