Welcome To FDLRS/Heartland

The Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS) provides diagnostic, instructional, and technology support services to district exceptional education programs and families of students with disabilities.

Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System of Heartland (FDLRS/Heartland) is one of nineteen associate centers developed by the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education & Student Services and funded through federal dollars and state general revenue money. The network has supported educators, families, and agencies working with children with disabilities and special needs for over twenty years. The FDLRS Heartland Associate Center is located in Lake Placid, Florida and serves Desoto, Glades, Hendry, and Highlands Counties.
