Heartland Educational Consortium offers a variety of ways to strengthen our member districts. Data Visualizations assist our districts in digging deep into data over the past few years to look for trends and improve their practices. The STEM Scholars program includes innovation to make more rigorous STEM courses available, STEM Forums and Summer Challenges led by university staff and STEM professionals, increased opportunities for real-world STEM problem-solving and research, and academic and career guidance.

HEC STEM Scholars Program

The STEM Scholars Program serves talented students in the ten Consortium high schools, with the mission of increasing the knowledge of students in STEM content areas, creating opportunities for authentic STEM research experiences, promoting student leadership development, and providing multiple measures of support to encourage student pursuit of STEM postsecondary education and career goals.
