Heartland Educational Consortium is a regional, non-profit, educational service agency founded in 1996 to provide cooperative services to member districts in central rural Florida. The organization is dedicated to providing services to member districts and helping the districts achieve their goals and objectives through sharing ideas and resources to enhance the delivery of programs and services.

FLORIDA STANDARDS ASSESSMENTS

The Florida Standards in Mathematics and English Language Arts were approved by the Florida State Board of Education in February 2014 and will be fully implemented in grades K–12 in the 2014–2015 school year.

Families are encouraged to take advantage of the information and resources available on the Florida Standards Assessments portal and the FDOE website

CONFERENCE HONORED
FLORIDA’S TOP STEM STUDENTS

Florida's highest-achieving eleventh-grade science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students from high schools joined their peers from around the state at the 2015 Sunshine State Scholars program on February 19th and 20th in Orlando.
