Heartland Educational Consortium is hosting our 2024 Summer Leadership Conference, "Connect & Collaborate", June 13-14, 2024 at the Westin Cape Coral at Marina Village. This year's conference is focused on resiliency. Topics for break-out sessions include: Legislative/FDOE Updates, Resiliency in Small & Rural Districts, Working with At-Risk Students, Student Achievement, Best Practices, Parent/Student Involvement, and School Culture!
HEC is offering scholarship opportunities to instructional staff in our member districts - DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, and Okeechobee. The scholarship will include conference registration and hotel stay for Wednesday, June 12th and Thursday, June 13th.
